BACKGROUND
Ever sense he can remember he spent time his with his grandfather. He was taught reading, writing, history, geography, science and combat. Cat’s parents both worked and his grandfather does a much better job of teaching him then any school.
On his 16th birthday he was giving the “Medallion”. He was shown it’s power, was told to learned to use it and to protect the innocent. One day while beating up a gang, he saw “Chameleon” flying through the air. His curiosity and hormones got the better of him, so he followed. That’s how he found the Seattle Hunt. He decided that they would give him the opportunity to learn to use the power, to protect the innocent and getting to stay near Chameleon really sparked his interest.
Kara left, Cat is now dating Linda. He is now a veteran of many battles but wonders what good he can do. He may be a good fighter and hard to hit but he feels as if he’s trying to kill cockroaches by stomping the ones see while there in a huge nest hiding, festering with more evil that he can imagine. These cockroaches stomp back too. Shot, stabbed, and humiliated he wonders if anyone can do this and he is stuck with those who are children in there own ways. Raven and her Black and white take on things. Ice Hawk who thinks the only way to solve problems it to kill it or throw money at it. The rest thinks this is a hobby to play at when ever the mood hits them. He hopes that he’ll find someone that can and will direct the team to be a true weapon for good. Until then, he tries to sharpen himself and the rest of the brat pack.
The Cat’s Grandfather Yoshizumi Reizei, was the youngest of 5 brothers. Even though there was little to no hope that he would ever get a chance to wear the “Medallion” he stayed, training, studying and working on the family farm until he was 30. Discouraged, thinking that he would ever get to wear it and serve the great purpose for which it was made, he left home. He heard that in America they were hiring people to build a railroad across the country and that there was gold found in California. So he decided to go to the USA. Yes, Yoshi is 184 years old. On the boat, halfway across, thinking that he may never see his home, family or the medallion again, what did he find in stuff but the medallion. He figured that it must have fallen in when his eldest brother was making fun of him while he packed. His eldest brother was a jerk. Even though he felt honored bound to return it he had to wear it, just once. When he did, he knew that it being there wasn’t an accident, it had chosen him.
After things where straightened out with his family (all but his eldest brother) he started his life in the states. Each day he studied and trained from 10 to 3, ran a restaurant from 4 to 11, and fought crime from 11 to 3 a.m. He keep this pace up for 90 years. He than stopped, sold the restaurant and married Alisha Coates, AKA Tiger Lily, and within a year was blessed with a daughter, Kim Catling. Kim is now police detective, Lieutenant Catling.
