I think that you are driving me crazy
but you are an inspiration. My mind has not been lazy
since I’ve met you. I’ve written many a beautiful word.
You’ve inspired some of the best I’ve ever heard.
Our relationship has been like a roller coaster ride.
Sometimes it made me want to hide
but other times it was almost to good.
Things went better than I dreamed they could.
The only time your really mine is when I fantasize.
My friends say “Buddy! Open your eyes.”
They say “This girl is changing you.”
I say, “Oh well, what can I do?”
Although the pro’s don’t out way the con’s
I can’t get rid of these invisible bonds.
I just know this is something that is meant to be.
I just have this feeling of which I can’t break free.
So I hope you’ll stay as long as you want.
When you leave my life, your memory will always haunt
and I will miss you when you go away
but in my heart, you will stay.
