After the thousands of miles that I did roam
My travels have finally brought me back home
I have been gone for over two years
And in that time I’ve shed many tears
Tears for friends, lovers and family too.
To many tears for a place where the sky is so blue
So back to my roots where I do belong
Cause something about California just seemed wrong
I guess it’s time to settle down
Time to make a life in my home town
I’ll show the people who I’ve become
In business. I am no longer dumb
Now I am a businessman, through and through
And there is nothing I can’t do
So look out Detroit. Cause I am here
I’ll knock the business world on it ear
Confidence is something I don’t lack
