By the Stream

Every morning we go to the spring,
And everyday your beauty makes my heart sing…
As we are settling by the spring in the early dawn
Our first sight was a little fawn…
She stands there and takes a drink,
Doesn’t run when she sees us, she’s happy so we think…
After a few minutes there is a mom and dad too,
They look at us with beauty as I have for you…
Under their hoofs was grass of green,
Male perfect; by the stream…
After awhile they all took off
They didn’t have to worry about us at any cost…
We walked by the stream and then to a water fall,
I whispered in your ears: I’m glad we didn’t miss these moments at all”…
We looked up through the mist; we could see a rainbow and thinking maybe there’s a pot of gold
But to me babe your worth more than that for me to hold…
We went back down the trail we went by the spring
Still admiring the beauty in which I have always seen…
You took me by the hand and you gave me a big hug and a kiss
You told me tenderly that I’m the top of your list…
The sun was now starting to appear over our heads
I said “Let’s lay in the green grass and pretend this is our bed.”…
We listened to the animal noises as they started to stir,
My baby reminded me of the little fawn’s fun…
We are laying under the sun and by the spring an the sky is blue
I rolled over and looked into your eyes and said “Baby I love you.”…
