Okay gentlemen and gals let start to party.
If you’re not all ready, I’m really sorry.
Okay now let’s start with the drums,
Let’s see where old Charlie is coming from.
Oh yeah, listen to him play,
This is rock’in Charlie’s way.
Now lets get down to the lead guitar,
Oh yeah he will tell us where we are.
Now lets get this going in one small step
Don’t pull my stop, for I haven’t slept.
This song is called, “a thing called bumping”
This is how it goes, shake your legs left to right,
Move your bodies, bump with all your might.
Oh take it easy now nobody wants to get hurt
Loosen up your ties, unbutton your shirts.
Now you bump to your left you bump to your right
You bump you bump through the night
Now take your partner give a little dip
Now offer a drink but give her a sip.
Now back to the dance floor bumping your way
You guys are doing perfect that’s where you stay
Hey you, yes the two of you.
Go to the dance floor I’ll show you what to do.
Ok now you ready? Let’s go shimmy shimmy from head to toe
Through your head back gently, just so.
Go round and round with both of your hands,
This is “a thing called bumping, “You’ll start to understand.
Ok now shimmy shimmy to the left and now the right
Feel all your muscles getting tight?
Oh yeah that’s the best part of having fun,
Now this thing, “Called bumping” has only begun.
Now move your body this way and back
Now do your bumping slowly as a matter of fact
Bump, bump, bump, now stop
Shimmy shimmy a hell of a lot
Now start kicking your feet into the air,
Look at me on the stage, so as I so if you dare.
I bend my knees and than I come up and do a twirl,
I look pretty silly doing this without my girl
Now I’m bumping my hips left to right
Oh yeah my friends this is out of sight
Now shimmy shimmy bump bump now find a chair
Take a rest come back to the floor if you dare.
This is a thing called bumping
