I remember when our love was new
I remember it well; because it was me and you…
I remember how your love made me feel
And I knew it was love because it’s so real…
The love we have for each other is more than a dream,
It’s a bundle of love, laughter, joy by any means…
I gave you your first rose on our first date,
I gave you my heart and said, “it’s yours to take”…
And as each day passed on by,
I could still see your beauty through my eyes,…
All this time you still hold “A faded Rose”
It proves you still love me, and it shows…
We could be sitting in a park and watching the sunset
As you reach for my hand and pointed to your heat and said…
“This is were love is Kept.”
We sat there as if it was for eternity,…
But it didn’t matter as long as it was you and me
We would sit there and watch the wind slightly blow
As I told you “That loving you is my highest goal.”…
We have been in love for so long and you still hold on, “A faded Rose.”
It only proves that were continuously grow…
To some they think that love just burns out like a light
But if you’re with somebody special it feels so right…
You can always talk about what’s on your mind or in your heart
That’s what love is its taking things slowly from the start…
Today she is still holding “A faded rose
Once n awhile she’ll put it to her nose…
One in awhile I’ll take her to see some dancing action
Show her my love, my heart and give her 100% satisfaction…
