I know it’s hard to trust anyone
but living without faith isn’t fun.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone on which to depend,
Someone who’s love will never end.
Someone to lean on, when you need someone there,
someone who’s not afraid to care.
I could be that someone, if you let me try.
I promise I’ll never make you cry.
I would never hurt you in any way.
I try to show I care, each and every day.
Never have I lied to you.
Every word I’ve said is true.
I wish somehow I could break through your wall
but it seems like it is so long and tall.
I can’t get over it, around it, or through.
Tell me how I can get close to you.
You told me before you would give me a chance.
I’m under your spell like I was in some kind of trance.
So I’ll wait for my chance as long as I can,
cause I’ve always been a hard headed man.
I’m determined someday to gain your trust,
cause in any relationship that is a must.
All I’m asking is for you to have faith in me.
If you do, then sorry, you will never be.
