You’re such a complicated girl
and your mind is always a whirl
never knowing which way to turn
Sometimes I wonder if you’ll ever learn
Life doesn’t have to move so fast
If you don’t slow down your youth won’t last
Before you know it you’ll be old
and if you still have a brain you’ll remember what you were told
But by then it will be to late
Cause you just can’t tempt the hand of fate
Your youth will be gone in the wink of an eye
It will never come back no matter how hard you try
So live your life at a slower pace
Remember life isn’t like a race
So savor every minute as if it were your last
take time to enjoy it , don’t run so fast
Heed my word before it’s to late
Good things come to those who wait
So have some patience and bye your time
Cause to let youth slip away would be a crime
