Some of the Indian’s growing up
Had these continuous pain in there gut
They felt that things would be all wrong,
And how we are foreigners out of place no longer belong
The ” Indians eye of an Eagle ” could see that this world come
And knowingly exactly when it was coming from
But our people were full of happiness full of pride
They continued their way nothing to hide
We had our circle we had our pow wow,
As others were thing how? Mean how
Just because things were being taken away,
It didn’t mean for us not to look forward for better days
We stood with our breastplates on,
Fun we made others know that we’ll still chant our songs
In an ” Indians eye of an Eagle ” we could see far and wide,
We would see our people skinning Buffalo Hides
We danced our dance wearing Buffalo skins,
And we did our rituals again amongst our friends
We didn’t stop our beliefs, nor did we die
We are” Indians eye of an Eagle eye
When we do our ceremonies our spirits floated free,
It was of a vision that Great Grandfather wanted us to see
I stood on a mountaintop, and I could see a vision of a Bear,
It represents strength courage and peace every where
” Indians eye of an Eagle ” strong and true
If you have a vision see it through
