Seattle Log 2
The morning arrived to the hide away home. Raven yawned and stench, slipping quietly out of bed. The spot where her love laid resting. Quickly she downed the cloth and covered in the cloak of his.
Her footstep whispered along the floor as she moved to leave. The darken skin form of Star followed her. In the silence of the morning she made her way to the Seattle Hunt. Star followed.
Raven found no one at the house, than headed back towards the Warehouse to check on Cat and Linda….. Star followed, Jerome followed Star in curiosity. Valoki flew over head watching the caravan forming behind his Raven and followed. The old beat up warehouse door shifted in her eyes to the strong security as she moved close. From the corner of her eye she saw the following she had gathered and sighed
“You are all invited in.” she shook her head, “Come on you three.”
Raven’s rat pack entered the Warehouse. Her voice raised, “PAM! ICE! WILLIAM! MYSTIC! CAT! LINDA! Who’s watching the baby???” Raven smiled at the three, “Make yourself at home I have to check my son.” Taking three steps, she leaped on a vine. From vine to vine she moved making her way up, one to the other till she lands in front of her… Linda’s hut.
Blue raised an eyebrow, at the sight of this new elf in the warehouse. Her eyes where flame, hair long sliver with the dark soft skin of night. The features where defined and every line flowed in the same graceful line as Raven’s. She walked by him with barely a glance to him as she moved to the sound of a child’s giggle.
Archer formed from nothingness near the pond. Sitting with his back against a tree, Simon played with the baby. His eyes moved up to the woman moving towards him same lines and near no clothes but this was not Raven.
“Hello, where did you meet Raven?” Simon greeted her.
Star moved in front of him kneeling to the grass, “Hello Simon, I have been with her for a time now. ” her eyes danced on the child, “Josho is much bigger than I thought.”
Simon swung Josho by his hands. “Good food and good exercise. You have? Why haven’t I seen you?” he asked
“You did not look for me….little brother. ” she paused eyes still on the child, “That is what she calls you. How is Linda?”
“Linda’s ok. I’m taking care of her.”
Star nodded, “I am sure you are doing a fine job.”
Blue moved to stand next to them. Looking down at this strange creature he asked, “Are you a relation of ravens, or from where ever she came from?”
“I am neither Blue. I am the Star.”
Raven swung through the vines, landing on the other side of the forest and headed to the pond.
Simon looked up at the man. “Hi.” he greeted the detective. He shrugged towards the dark skin twin. “This is Star. Any friend of Raven is ok with me.”
Blue natural suspicious eyes fell on the negative image before him, “How do you know me? Especially since I don’t think I would forget meeting you.
Star attention was only on the small frame of Josh; “May I touch the child?”
Simon asked, “So she talks a lot about me?” He beamed at the thought.
“I have seen you through Raven’s eyes Blue.” Star asked again, “May I touch the child?”
Simon shrugged, “I guess so. If Raven didn’t trust you, you wouldn’t be in here.”
Curiosity was now getting the better of Blue, In which manner?”
Star again said nothing to the eagle eyed man. She closed her eyes. Her mind ripped into the baby mind. Josh cried out at the rough intrusions on his tiny little mind.
Simon hugged the screaming child. “It’s all right. I’m here.” He gently padded the infant’s back.
Star opened her flaming eyes. The warehouse fell quiet, Josh instantly stopped his crying.
Star smirked, “Thank you Simon.” Star lips pressed together in a soothing hum, the pitch, the tones all were of Raven’s voice.
“Sorry Star, you seem to up set him. Maybe later.” Simon yelled, “Raaaavvvvven” He eyes wide as his genius mind connected what he just heard.
Star opened her pale lips in verse. The elven song floated on the air as she sang to the child in Simon’s arms. There was no doubt she sang in Raven’s voice.
Blue sighed.
Raven yelled back, “YES SIMON!”
Simon yelled, “Could you come here please?”
Raven pulled from the tender kiss she was sharing with Archer by the pond
Ghost Archer pulled back still holding the tiny elf gently to him, he spoke in a sigh, “Noisy place…..”
Reluctantly Raven pulled from his arms. Her hand ran down him as she stepped away till only the tips of their fingers touched. Raven sighed as she looked backed him, her eyes speaking for her as he smiled back in the reflections of the green pools. She with drew her hand and made her way to Simon’s little grouping.
“Yes Simon.” Raven walked next to her little brother. So handsome was this young human of eastern heritage. She thought there must be elf blood mix to appear so close to her kind. “What is it little brother??”
Simon eyes flashed panic, “Raven, could you tell me about Star here?”
Raven smiled, “She is ….. Star…”
Blue mind spun in thought, “Well I guess I better start hunting. Call me if you need me.”
Raven suggested, “You can find Rev M or the pack please.” Raven pulled from the heated desire drawing her to the animal pack of wild men so much the dogs they imitate. “I really want to eliminate them from Seattle.” She nearly growled.
Blue noted her reactions to the pack, was it hate, obsession or something else? He would have to put that one on the list to find out about his teammates, “Currently the Rev M seems to be the bettor target. I personally don’t like finding to many assault rifle being available.” He turned abruptly and headed out. Last thing he need was their mentalist popping in his mind when he was contemplating on her.
Simon called to his back, “Demon is on the list to but the order of importance is Rev M, Pro Guard, The pack and if you have time Demon.”
Blue let the words bounce of him. Simon was just a kid. The sarcasm around here got much thicker than this here. No his mind was set. Rev M need to be looked into and looked into fast. Idly he thought, “At least Star doesn’t have a mini dragon with her. ” He watched his step not to find any packages they may have left on the carpet. He grinned, *At least Hawkins is house broke.*
Raven turned back to Simon, “I have no words to explain her to you, little brother.”
Simon anger showed on his face, “Ok, I don’t think Josho likes her.” Holding the boy in his face he jiggles the baby, “Do you little guy.”
“Any one seen William today?” Raven asked, “I wish for him to meet Star.”
Simon handed the baby over, “Here Raven, I have to check on Linda. Talk to you later.” His eyes cold, eyed Star. Raven took her first child, smiling happy that the flame had let her find him.
Ghost Archer wandered out of the little forest, barefoot. Ghost Archer spun around, “Hey, Simon.”
“Green Ranger, can I talk to you?” the boys brow looked worried.
“Sure. How’s Linda?”
Star smiled as she stared at Josho in wonderment. Raven crawled around Josho, he crossed under her belly, as he scampered quickly on all fours.
Ghost Archer eyes watched the trio in the distance. His lips curled in grin watching Raven as he spoke to Simon “Want to talk in private?”
Simon turned to look back, “Linda is Ok, I guess that didn’t do what I thought they did. She still what’s my attention.” Simon asked, “What can you tell me about Zodiac?”
“Zodiac? Quite a bit.” Ghost Archer frowned, “Was it a general question or did you have a specific question?”
“Pisces seemed nice and Taurus seems to be reasonable. Am I wrong here?” Simon asked.
“Pisces is nice..I really like her…” Ghost Archer paused, “Taurus? Very intelligent… And usually reasonable…”
“Well, a… a… ” Simon wasn’t sure how to approach the subject and blurted, “William could do better not obsessing about Raven. Do you think this is a bad idea?”
“I agree with you, Simon…but what did you have in mind?” Ghost Archer asked still watching the three. Star had stood up and wandered over into a jungle section of vines and shrubs that filled most the warehouse in a beautiful natural setting of the spring wild lands of green lush and fertile forest. Raven rolled on the grass and taken her little love, Josho, in a roll with her making him giggle. Springing to her feet Raven put her fingers in Josho’s hands, dangling him she set him to his feet and moved along walking his little legs in the thick green grass.
Simon smiled, “Pisces and William on a date?”
Ghost Archer looked at the him, “Simon…”
Star reappeared and knelt at the sands. Her eyes stared long at the female buried in the hot grains of magic sand. Linda eyes where closed yet it was eyes Star stared at. Star closed her eyes. Linda started crying.
Ghost Archer eyes shot over in Linda’s direction. Simon mind clear of all thought, forgetting what he was saying. In one large stride he was in a dead run to Linda.
Star opened her eyes, rising to her feet, stepped back from the sands. Simon streaking by dropping into the sands, Pulling the girl from sands and into his arms, “I’m here Linda. I’m here.”
Linda eyes slightly open as she draped an arm around his neck pulling herself into his loving embrace.”Could you give us a moment?” Cat looked at Star and Archer. Simon looked down in the teary eyes, “What’s wrong sweetheart?”
“I’ll be okay she just asked hard questions.” Linda buried her face in his chest, “just hold me cat.”
He held her tight pulling back the tears in his eyes, “I’m here Linda, for now and forever.”
Ghost Archer nodded going to Raven and Josho, sitting in the grass beside them. Star wandered after him like a puppy. Ghost Archer looked up at Star “Well? what did you think of things?”
Star looked at Josho, “The boys mind is growing.”
“Yes.. that happens…” Archer nodded watching the dark figure.
“He does not understand much yet, not like Gene.”Star assessed, “Gene’s mind speaks will.”
“Gene is his mother’s son…” Ghost Archer added, “He is developing faster then his sister…”
“She has only thoughts of the sun and steel eyes.” Star expressionless face stared at Josho and Raven playing.
“The Sun?” Ghost Archer narrowed his eyes, “Steel eyes?”
“Do I miss speak?” Star thought, than announced, “I will watch.”
“I am not sure what you mean?”Archer stated.
“It is what they tell me.” Star eyes never moved from mother and son. “Where is the other Ravens? I wish to meet them.”
Ghost Archer asked, “Meet whom?”
“I wish to meet all the bodies I viewed.” Star began the list, “Ice, Pam, William, Drynnan, Taurus, Kevin, all of them.” She added, “Terry and peter. Paul, Lincoln Scott, Willie
“Taurus and Drynnan might be a problem…” Ghost Archer listened, “Kevin too.. You are touching on people I do not know.”
“But I have seen them in her eyes.” Star eyes danced in two flame licks, “I wish to see them in mine.”
Archer eyes took in the curves he knew so well in the lighter tones of his elf maiden. Star dress was much like what Raven had arrived in. In the warehouse the scantly dressed was not uncommon but it was winter in Seattle and the bite of cold could kill the most hardy human fully dressed. Archer asked, “Star…what do you feel?”
“In what manner do you mean?.” She asked looking back at the two in the sands. Her mind was in a flood of new sensations. It was just a part of the whole that lived in the mind of Raven and now she was the whole of a form. So many new things she “felt”. Which of these did he want to know? How could she speak of just one?
Simon look into the big puppy eyes of Linda’s, in a whisper to her, “Linda, do you think you should cover up?” He clung to her not wanting to give up the warm she brought to his heart.
Linda nodded laying back down. “Okay cover me.”
“I’m right here when ever you need me.” He scooped the sand back over her body. Simon walked over to GA and Star like a man on a mission. He stood there waiting for them to stop talking.
Ghost Archer looked up at Simon with a questioning glance.
Star smiled at Simon and invited him, “Sit Simon.” She looked at the scowl on his face, “Simon may I touch you?”
Simon ignored Star, “Green Ranger, about my idea. Should I proceed with it or drop it?”
Star wide eyed asked again, “Simon may I touch you?”
Simon abruptly refused, “NO!”
Star nodded, not being phased by the inflection of his voice but stood.
“Why so adamant, Simon?” Archer asked
Simon put a hand on his shirt over his belt and backed into a fighting stance.
Star looked at the challenge and tilted her head looking at him with a curiosity but turned her back wandered away.
“Simon…sit down.” Archer ordered with a warning in his voice.
“Ever one she touched cried out. I don’t trust her.” He shook where he stood watching her back move away from them
“She hasn’t asked me yet…” Archer spoke quietly, “And about Pisces…. I don’t think so…. It’s not a good idea to date the villains…” Ghost Archer grinned
Simon smiled a devilish smile, straighten his face then says, “OH, she hasn’t?”
Ghost Archer asked, “Pisces?”
“William clean?” Simon added.
Ghost Archer shrugged “I don’t know much about him, other then he doesn’t care for me…”
“I just think I owe one to Taurus. He could of returned me with out my belt.” Simon shrugged, “I guess I’m letting that make me act foolish.”
“Taurus is honorable…” Ghost Archer stated, “but don’t think he wouldn’t kill you if he had to…”
Simon pointed out, “We have his axe wouldn’t that be fair?
Ghost Archer looked up at Star. Star had traveled the beams above Archer and Simon. Her mouth moved in full song, full raven song. The sweet tones fill the air as it echoed through in it’s full soothing flow. Star sang a sad elven song.
Simon nodded, “I understand.”
Ghost Archer eyes locked on the dark form as he called out, “STAR!” Star stopped her song. Archer added to Simon in a low tone, “He has other axes…”
Down from the beams the fiery eyes stared at the tall lanky figure calling for, “Yes Archer.”
“Excuse me, Simon” Ghost Archer stood, leaping into the rafters, landing softly beside Star. “Star…”
“I am here” she replied
“You have Raven’s song….”
“Yes.”
“Please…don’t sing them…it hurts her not to have them…”
Star frowned
Simon called up, “See you. Tell Taurus 8pm Friday. At the mall. He’ll be the one in the tucks.”
Ghost Archer looked down at Simon.. “He will not come to such an open a site, Simon…”
“But I like her songs,” Star orange licks of eyes reflected in his, “They make me….. feel.”
Ghost Archer returned Star’s gaze “And if you no longer had the songs? How would you feel?”
Simon shook his and called up, “Not Taurus. Pisces. Tell Taurus to have Pisces meet William there.”
Ghost Archer asked Star, “Can’t you share Raven’s music with her?”
“If you did not save me, they would have died with me and I can not give them back till the deal is complete. Only the others where strong enough to share what is in me and they hide.”
“From the Dragon?”
“Yes” Star said simply
Ghost Archer shook his head., “They can’t hide from him…. Not if he wants them…”
“He will lose interest in us. They always do.” Star tilted her head, “If you are boring they do not watch. If you don’t respond they do not care.” She paused adding, “We are so near the circle.”
“I wish….” Archer gave a sigh, “I have been the center of a dragons attention for a couple of hundred years now…”
Blue radioed. “Raven, Cat I think I found something interesting. Are you interested?”
Raven radioed, “Yes Blue always”
Simon went to William and saying, “Do you have a tucks?
William looked at the boy as in he was insane, “A tux? Are you kidding?”
Simon takes a seat by Linda, radioing, “What do you have Blue?”
Simon held Linda’s hand. “Nope, You’ll have to be at the mall Friday evening.”
William shook his head, “I got two pairs of jeans and a couple of shirts…”
“The mall? What for?” William asked.
Simon grinned, “Don’t worry. I’ll get you a tux.”
Blue radioed, “The first of march, our favorite person will be making a
speech at a building called the promise land. His website is really positive and up beat.”
Raven radioed, “I know the promise land.”
Star stepped off the beam and started plummeting to the floor.
William eyes caught the form falling, ” What the!?!” In horror he watched as “Raven” plunged to the floor. In a slow motion, his heart racing he moved to the falling body.”
Simon pulled his shirt out from under his belt and jumped to save Star. Cat caught Star putting her onto the floor and said, “Oh, it’s you. Could you stay down?” He grunted leaving her on the ground and stood, stepping gingerly out of William’s way.
William ran across the grass toward the girl, sliding to a stop ,his bare feet nearly coming out from under him. He fell to his knees beside and looked down at this dark reflection.
Star opened her eyes, smiling at William.
William panted, “You’re not Raven!?” William scowled, “Who ARE you?”
“No,” Star replied in a soft calm tone, “I am Star.”
William repeating questioning, “Star?”
“Yes”
Cat walked away and saying, “Yea. Don’t let her touch before you talk to Raven about it.” Cat radioed, “Blue, when’s the speech?”
William panted a little more, “Give a guy a heart attack…”
Star frowned look at Cat’s retreat, ” He does not like me. No one likes me.”
“Dammit…” William scowled, “What are we doing? Starting a daycare?”
Star stood up, “I will go be with Raven. You don’t like me either.” Her eyes dulled to a pale yellow as the frown moved over the tender lips. He long hair matched the length of the refection, every curve a known image of Raven’s.
“Like you? Don’t even know you….” William exclaimed, ” Ya scared me!” Star eyes of flames stared into William’s. William met the gaze defiantly, “Who the hell are you anyway?”
“Archer ordered me to stop singing,” Star frowned, “Raven brought me here.”
“Yeah…sounds like him…giving orders…” William agreed.
“He is that way.” Star stated as fact.
“Yeah..I noticed…” William eyes couldn’t help looking at her in Raven’s homeland garb, “I am surprised you are “friends’ with Archer yet…you are female….”
“He is Raven’s I would not hurt her in that way and he is not what I desire.” Star sighed. “I am not good at making friends, it seems.”
William asked forthright, “Yeah? What do you desire?”
“I desire to understand and care and be care for.”
William grinned, “Oh…you want the impossible…”
Her even lips rolled out a soft, “Yes. I guess that is true”
William shrugged, “Good luck.. all I ever found is pain.”
“No one likes me here except Raven. She understands me. She cares but …”Star paused.
“Yeah…you won’t get that from Archer…but?” William asked.
“I think Archer does not like me watching as much as I do.” Star looked at the rugged man, his face worn from the hard living of the street. His eyes still young but so deep in pain, “Maybe I will wander.”
“AS much….?”, William knit his brow, ” What are you doing, hanging out with them?”
“Learning,” Star eyes cooled in the flame colors, “I am new to Earth. I am new to everything. I feel so alone here.”
William nodded, “Yeah.. I know that feeling.”
“Can you tell me how one survives ?” she asked.
“Don’t let nobody in.” the chill of William’s words echoed through him. ” Don’t fall in love. Don’t look into her eyes and ….”
Star nodded averting her eyes, “That will be easy. I can’t do any of them.”
William swallowed hard, “Yeah…right…. then you’re lucky….”
MEANWHILE:
Cat went to Linda, his eyes watched what’s going on around him. Tenderly he stroked her soft brown hair that peeked from the healing sands, “Linda, I need to talk to Raven. Do you mind?”
Linda weakly smiled her strength not yet with her, “Go ahead Cat I will be fine.”
Cat jumped to Raven’s room landing like a feather in front of the woven wall, ten rapid knocks stroke the living vines with a thumb.
Raven peeked out, “Come in little brother.” Raven returned to rocking Josho as he drank his bottle.
“Raven, do you have a min? I need to ask one question about Star.” He sat besides her taking the boys hand playing with it as Josho drank.
“I always have a minute for you.”
“Can I trust her. Did I let her hurt Josho? I wouldn’t forgive myself if I did.” His eye filled with the pain of inexperience.
“Star doesn’t know her strength.” Raven looked down at her son now asleep in her arms, “He is fine, it was just sudden for him and his little mind.”
“So she means no harm. Ok, if you say so. I’ll trust your judgment.”
“Cat don’t trust her 100%,” Raven warned, “I trust her but not totally.”
“Ok, I guess I’ll have to learn what I can trust her to do.”
“So do I,” Raven sighed heavy.
Cat gave Raven a half hug and a kiss on her cheek, her free arm returned the warmth before Cat pulled and left. Cat walked the two over hear part of the conversation, chiming in, “That’s how you become lonely in the first place.”
Star eyes flare, “Yeah like if Linda didn’t throw herself on HIM! He would have anyone either.”
“And I don’t know that?” Cat defend himself,” To tell you the truth I get the idea you have to have hamburger for a heart before you find the one you’re going to be with.” Cat feeling the pangs still for Kara, “Look I had to lose to Lizard lips.” Cat checked his watch, trying to think of a graceful escape, one freely was offered to him by Star.
“William, will you please go for a walk with me?” Star smiled sweetly, her mind thinking on cat’s words.
William looked around the place. “Yeah..sure..what the hell.. Where you want to go, Star?”
“To the four corners of the universe and back.. but please you choose I don’t wish to get lost.” Star moved her arm to Williams, her eyes looking down at his bare feet.
“Cat warned me not to let you touch me…why?” William looked down at his bear feet…
“I don’t know.” Star tilted her head up to look at his face, “If you do not wish my touch I will not but I haven’t tried. Do you need boots like the rest of earthlings?”
“Guess it’s cold outside. Better get dressed.”
“May I watch?” she requested.
William frowned, shrugging his shoulders, “Why not…”
The two headed up the ladder to his space in the rafters.
Cat looked down at Linda, ” A.. A.. Linda, would you mind going to a strip club with me. I think some of the dancers are being harassed by Pro Guard and I want to hurt someone.” He looked over his shoulder seeing Archer standing there, “Green Ranger, Do you want to go to the strip club?” Raven joined her beloved at his side.
Blue checked magazine adds. His hands added to the notebook he kept his records of which group was active and which group was causing trouble as well keeping track of any information he had picked up.
Cat looked to the elf, “Raven, can you have Pam give us some disguises?”
“Do you know how to paint stripes Cat?” Raven suggested, “I think I can wear them in her place.”
Ghost Archer bit his lip, “You don’t look much like her, love…” but the thought of his elf in stripes.
Cat stopped in mid move just thinking about there quest. The young boy fought his natural instincts and growing urge.
“In places like that they never look at the face.” Raven stated remembering when she first was lured to the stage with Pam.
“So…you want to strip.” Archer’s tone a tad off, “Pam…”
“Of course you men can go in and I can go invisible and sit on your lap beloved.” She smiled at his expression.
“I do like that idea better…” Archer eyes betrayed him.
Cat grinned, “You’re right you need the hair to tell anyone apart. GA, do you want her with or with out clothing?”
Ghost Archer grinned, “depends on where we are…”
“I thought we could redefined that Strip club with her invisible.” Cats grin grew.
Ghost Archer asked calmly, “Did you hear of one in particular, Cat?”
“Yes I did. I called them and they told me that they would tell anyone and we at Pro Guard didn’t need to keep checking on them. Ok, Who wants to go.” Catcalled up in the rafters, “William could you and Star take care of Josho. That’s all right with you Raven?”
Ghost Archer smirked, “Smart, Cat…”
Hawkins flies down from the beams, thinking he might be really busy for a while
Cat incorporated in the bird “Right Hawkins. We need you to find where the bad guys are hiding.”
Ghost Archer snickered, “One thing, Cat…”
Cat turned to the Green Ranger, “Yes?”
Ghost Archer looked at Cat Boy “Aren’t you a little young for a strip club?”
Cat pulled out his fake ID. The ID says he’s 22.
Ghost Archer shook his head, “Simon…you LOOK 16…”
Smugly Cat replied, “So you look under 50, same thing.”
Ghost Archer laughed, “Shut up, kid…”
Raven smiled.
Cat smirked, “What ever you say old man.”
“He has a point beloved.” Raven tried to hold back her laughter.
Cat changed back to Simon.
Hawkins went and got a high-speed camera from Blue’s room. Return he asked, “Can either ghost archer or cat help me with something?”
Cat asked, “What do you need?”
“I need a little jury rigging done and I know blue cant help me with this one.”
Ghost Archer looked at the Bird, “What do you need done, Hawk?”
“I need a camera reset so that I may use it. I don’t want to have to worry about wasting film during flight. I needed it real soon for some recon.”
Simon nodded, “What do you want, when and where do you want it?”
“Let’s see what you have, Hawk?” requested Archer
“I think I have a few things.” Simon remarked
“The main reason is because talons don’t’ exactly work as hands.”Hawkins mutter, “Blue is going to kill me when he goes for this camera.”
Simon piped up, “I have an idea. I would like to go to this electronic store.”
“What did you need there?” asked Archer
” They have some really cool spy cameras I didn’t have a reason to by them before but I think I can find what Hawkins is looking for there.”
“An excuse for anew toy, Cat?” Ghost Archer grinned.
“Yea, Me and my did are alike there. Have you out grown that? Is that what happens past 100?” inquisitively he stared.
Ghost Archer held his amusement, “And past two hundred…”
Raven snickered, “Should I buy a cane beloved?
“Why, Love…do you need one?” he teased back.
Raven smirked, “Isn’t that what old men hit young ones with??”
“I thought it was what old women hit old men with.”replied archer.
“Mmmmmm Maybe I do need one.” she considered.
Ghost Archer kissed Raven, “Nah…I’ll behave…”
Raven smiled playfully
Cat said, “We’re dependent on him for a ride so we shouldn’t mention just down the road from the Electronics store, they sell wheel chairs in Green’s size.
Hawkins began to tell every one of Blues suspicion on where the factory bombing got men from. He mentioned that the groups he was looking at, might have a linked because the factory assault group had planning, strategy, as well as getting reinforcements. To do a double encirclement of the police at the factory would have allowed them to leave and would have taken care of the heroes. Simply put that assault was a little to organized and needed some group with a bit of regular training for it to have worked
“That’s what you need the camera for? Photo Recon?” Archer asked.
“Correct, “Hawkins continued, “I plan to get photos of each member in all of these group. The ideal is if they pull another attack we might be able to know where they came from do to the photos. With that the police have probably cause to go investigate these groups and neutralize them. Oh and me doing the photos will be a little safer since I’m sure they don’t react to birds the same way they react to any form of helicopter.”
Cat goes to the dining room table and dumps a pile of stuff a small digital camera, battery back up, a notebook, hard drive a pare of belts and more stuff then I want to describe.
Raven pulled out a soldering iron, solder and needle nose pillars from her cloak, “Need these Cat?”
Ghost Archer raised his brow, “Where did you get those?”
“Something I picked up.” she sheepishly grinned
“From my lab?” he asked.
Cat fidgeted, “I can’t do anything with out them. Have some reading glasses in there to?”
Raven pulled out a folding magnifier. “No glasses, will this work.”
Cat gets his threaded hand vice and mounts the magnifier with it and starts to work.
Looking at the huge pile of electronics Archer asked, “Cat.. did you get one of those new hard drives?”
“I didn’t need to. It’s really small but it only can hold 10Gigthat should be enough. Do you think there’s one that will do the job better?
“Dam..I have a couple of those new matchbox size drives…” Archer stated
Cat continued his work as he spoke, “What’s their name I’ll need to get their specks.
The bird watched on, “Will it be able to take good distance photos?” Hawkins put Blues camera down. “I guess this camera won’t be butchered.”
Archer grinned, “Guess Blue will appreciate that…”
Cat shrugged, ” I don’t know I guess we’ll have to find an optics specialist to give you more range. but I’ll be able to give you 1600 by 1280 picks for 2hours.” They strapped the camera on Hawkins.
Cat goes to GA, “Ok let’s go Ranger. Ok, I’ll meet you there.”
“I’ll take it slow…for you younger folks…” grinned Archer as they moved back in the warehouse.
“William take care of Star for me.” Raven called up into the beams. “Don’t let her get into any trouble.”
William voice called back, “Yeah.. no problem, Raven.”
“Star be nice to William.” Raven added.
Starwatcher them below, from her perch at Williams door, “I will.”
Cat went to Linda kissing you sweetly, then hopped onto a sky cycle.
Ghost Archer grinned, “Come-on, Raven…fly with me.” Raven wrapped her body around her beloved, his arms drawing her closer to his chest. “Very nice.” His voice dropped to near whisper, “How about a detour to our place? Won’t take but a hour or two…”
Raven smiled, “Hawkins would get impatient and we have after, and more….”
Ghost Archer smiled
Raven whispered, “Come my beasty boy fly me to the moon.”
“Then let’s get going….” Ghost Archer lifted off the ground and straight at the roof, desolidifing and passed into the night.
