I know it’s hard to trust anyone
\nbut living without faith isn’t fun.
\nWouldn’t it be nice to have someone on which to depend,
\nSomeone who’s love will never end.<\/p>\n
Someone to lean on, when you need someone there,
\nsomeone who’s not afraid to care.
\nI could be that someone, if you let me try.
\nI promise I’ll never make you cry.<\/p>\n
I would never hurt you in any way.
\nI try to show I care, each and every day.
\nNever have I lied to you.
\nEvery word I’ve said is true.<\/p>\n
I wish somehow I could break through your wall
\nbut it seems like it is so long and tall.
\nI can’t get over it, around it, or through.
\nTell me how I can get close to you.<\/p>\n
You told me before you would give me a chance.
\nI’m under your spell like I was in some kind of trance.
\nSo I’ll wait for my chance as long as I can,
\ncause I’ve always been a hard headed man.<\/p>\n
I’m determined someday to gain your trust,
\ncause in any relationship that is a must.
\nAll I’m asking is for you to have faith in me.
