I remember when our love was new
\nI remember it well; because it was me and you…
\nI remember how your love made me feel
\nAnd I knew it was love because it’s so real…<\/p>\n

The love we have for each other is more than a dream,
\nIt’s a bundle of love, laughter, joy by any means…
\nI gave you your first rose on our first date,
\nI gave you my heart and said, “it’s yours to take”…<\/p>\n

And as each day passed on by,
\nI could still see your beauty through my eyes,…
\nAll this time you still hold “A faded Rose”
\nIt proves you still love me, and it shows…<\/p>\n

We could be sitting in a park and watching the sunset
\nAs you reach for my hand and pointed to your heat and said…
\n“This is were love is Kept.”
\nWe sat there as if it was for eternity,…
\nBut it didn’t matter as long as it was you and me<\/p>\n

We would sit there and watch the wind slightly blow
\nAs I told you “That loving you is my highest goal.”…
\nWe have been in love for so long and you still hold on, “A faded Rose.”
\nIt only proves that were continuously grow…<\/p>\n

To some they think that love just burns out like a light
\nBut if you’re with somebody special it feels so right…
\nYou can always talk about what’s on your mind or in your heart
\nThat’s what love is its taking things slowly from the start…<\/p>\n

Today she is still holding “A faded rose
\nOnce n awhile she’ll put it to her nose…
\nOne in awhile I’ll take her to see some dancing action
