Williams Cat Fight and More (Between Ravens log 13 & 14)<\/p>\n
Cat strolled into the warehouse, “Good morning.” He spoke clearly as he approached William as William beat up on the warehouse wall covered in a green moss.<\/p>\n
Simon shouted to William, “Want to hit something with a little more give?<\/p>\n
“Yeah! What ever.” William snipped.<\/p>\n
“Shit for brains!” Simon remarked.<\/p>\n
“Ass Wipe!” William through another punch to the wall.<\/p>\n
“Why don’t you come here and say that.”<\/p>\n
William laughed. “Yeah right, as soon as I get down there you will become tall and Fur faced, another of Archers butt buddies. What he send you here to try and kick my ass?”<\/p>\n
“Yea right. This is about you now. Do you want to leave this place even if it’s only with Raven?”<\/p>\n
Rage took over William, his eyes flashed in it, “LEAVE her out of this!” He made his way to the ladder before he lost his control, “You think I am going break my word to her, your nuts BOY!” Cat now stood in front of him blocking his way.<\/p>\n
“Here’s the deal. We fight, me and you not Cat no one else and if I win you have to do what I tell you and take my training.”<\/p>\n
“Like you could teach me anything.” William paused to consider. “What is in for me?”<\/p>\n
“If a little guy like me can beat you I would think I do. What do you want?”<\/p>\n
“Raven.” William let that sink into Simon’s mind, “or at least get that shit head away from her.”<\/p>\n
“I guess you would. You’re not the only one. I know of at least two others. How can I help you in that?”<\/p>\n
“Than you will help me separate them.” William grinned at his naivet\u00e9, “Damn boy! You’re her little brother. Don’t you think you couldn’t influence her thinking.”<\/p>\n
“If you win I’ll do what I can but that’s only if you win.”<\/p>\n
William grinned, an evil smile, “Hope your mommy and daddy has health insurance.”<\/p>\n
Simon stepped back into a fighting stance. William laughed as Simon jumped around. “Ready?”<\/p>\n
William held his laugh, “Are we fighting or dancing?”<\/p>\n
“Same thing just the contact is a little more defined.”<\/p>\n
“Wait!” William looked around.<\/p>\n
Cat looked confused, “For what?”<\/p>\n
“Let’s see if we can go out back or if I am barred inside. Raven don’t like any fightin’ in the building.”<\/p>\n
“How will I train you if you can’t fight in here?”<\/p>\n
“Something about the peace of it,” William shook his head, “duh Boy! We got the yard if I can go out there but I won’t have to worry none much about that. You will to busy helping me get the asshole away from Raven.” William went to the side door never taking his eyes off of Simon, half expecting an attack at any moment. “Mind telling me who my other allies are? The other two?” Simon followed William and made his way out never letting his back turn to William.<\/p>\n
Simon spoke, “Do you know who Valoki is?”<\/p>\n
William put a fake smile on. “Her little pet!” William held back a real laugh; “He’s with the baby right now. So who’s the other?”<\/p>\n
“I can’t tell you. So don’t ask again.”<\/p>\n
“Boy you have shit for brains.” He shook his head. “You tell me they are out there. You think I won’t find out.”<\/p>\n
“We’ll see.” Simon spoke self-assured.<\/p>\n
William grinned. He walked to an open area William spoke, “Lets in Raven’s words ‘PLAY’.”<\/p>\n
Simon stepped back in to a fighting stance and said, “It’s a lot harder to find things out when you can’t go anywhere.”<\/p>\n
“Never stopped me before.” William said smugly, “Here kitty, Kitty.”<\/p>\n
“But it will sure slow you down.” Simon smirked.<\/p>\n
Simon’s foot snaps out. William tried to dodge the blow, but the wrong way. The top of Simon’s foot slammed into the side of William’s head, rattling his teeth and dazing him. Simon danced around and boasting, “You can’t touch me you might as well give up.” Blood dripped from Williams’s face. “Are you Ok? Are you willing to quit or do you want to take this up later?”<\/p>\n
William’s rage grew as he shouted at Simon, “LITTLE BUTT FUCK YOU WHERE JUST GOD DAMN LUCKY.”<\/p>\n
“Fine” Simon said as he charged with a sidekick to his chest. Simon charged, his foot leashing out at his foe. William trying to catch the foot, misses and leaves himself exposed. Simon’s kick slammed into William’s left thigh. Through his rage William barely noticed the mighty kick.<\/p>\n
William stepped inside Simon’s kick, his fist coming down from the sky and smashing into Cat’s left shoulder. William cursed, “Take that you suburban fuck.”<\/p>\n
Valoki darted out of the warehouse, rage glowing in his eyes. He hovered between the two combatants. He hissed and lashed his barbed tail in warning.<\/p>\n
William shooed the flying pest away; “We are just playing. Go away.” Valoki glared at William. William’s foot come up, catching Simon in the balls. Simon fell to the ground, as Valoki darted under William, slashing him in the balls
\nWilliam gloated as he felt the stinger, “Now you will help me get Raven from Archer. Damn you little pest! It’s for her, I kicked his ass.” Valoki darted up, out of reach a smug look on his dragon face. “Little cock sucking lizard.”<\/p>\n
Linda rushed from the warehouse. She looked at the two men. Her eyes filled with tears as she grabbed the radio from Simon’s body.<\/p>\n
Linda radioed, “Anybody here? Help! They killed each other! Hello? How does this thing work, damnit! ((*thump, thump*)).<\/p>\n
Raven awoke from her dreams but curled back into Cufaen arms. She wondered what woke her up. Raven stretched and climbed from his bed.<\/p>\n
Spock radioed, “This is Spock, young woman, please calm down. What is the trouble?”<\/p>\n
Linda radioed, “They killed each other! Cat’s bleeding from the mouth and nose, William’s laying there holding his balls and moaning! Where is Raven? Or Mystic!”<\/p>\n
Spock radioed, “If you will place you hand on both of the injured I will teleport you to the Manor Medical Center and have assistance waiting for you. What is your name?”<\/p>\n
Panic filled Linda as she radioed, “What the hell does that matter! OH MY GOD!!! I think Cat stopped breathing! Oh, God!! He’s dead!” Linda burst into sobs but didn’t place her hands on either of the men. Linda wailed, “Raven!!! Why did you leave me all alone like this to deal with junk? Shit, shit, shit!!”<\/p>\n
Spock voice whispered in Archers room, “Ghost Archer, Raven, you are needed at the warehouse immediately.”<\/p>\n
Raven grabbed a robe with out thought to why, “Take me there please.”
\nRaven disappeared in the beam of light with talisman and locket still on the floor of the library.<\/p>\n
Archer sat up and looks around. “Spock? What’s the trouble?” He slide out of bed as he saw Raven teleporting away. “Clothes, damnit!” In a blink of an eye, he was dressed<\/p>\n
Spock explained, “Apparently some sort of altercation has occurred at the Warehouse, Raven has been teleported to the sight even now.<\/p>\n
“Take me there, Spock!” Archer ordered.<\/p>\n
Raven looked down at Linda and the bodies. She moved quickly to check for pulses. “Pull yourself together sweet little one.” Raven spoke kindly to Linda as she pulled the men to her. “Tell the radio I am with them and they need the glass box.”<\/p>\n
Linda stared at Raven, tears staining her young face. Her sobs erupted again she spoke, “They’re dead, Raven … Cat’s dead!”<\/p>\n
“Not if we hurry. Please Linda.” Raven pleaded<\/p>\n
Archer appeared beside Raven. She looked up at her love, “Please help them! Take them to the glass cases.”<\/p>\n
Linda covered her face with her hands as Valoki adds his two-cent into the confusion. “They would not stop fighting, Seeker.”<\/p>\n
Raven pulled her robe close as she reached for the girl, pulling her close. “Hush my young, Cufaen will aid us.”<\/p>\n
Archer knelt beside the two men, frowning and checked Simon’s pulse. It is weak but steady. Archer touched William’s throat, “Shit.”<\/p>\n
“Please Hurry! I wish not either to fade,” Raven pleaded.<\/p>\n
Archer rolled the William onto his back and ripped open his shirt.” Spock! Medical all five NOW!”<\/p>\n
Raven screamed, “My son! Where is he?”<\/p>\n
Archer breathed into William’s mouth twice and began chest compressions, “Spock! Josho too!”<\/p>\n
Linda clung to Raven as Raven whispered, “I agree to all.” Valoki landed on Raven shoulder as they dematerialized. Archer materialized, still working on William’s chest.<\/p>\n
“Raven, open the ‘doc!” ordered Archer. Raven opened it. Josho appeared on the floor, still asleep, bed and all. Archer scooped up William and laid him on the ‘doc, slamming the lid<\/p>\n
Raven spoke in her tongue, “Please oh mighty flame, help keep his burning”<\/p>\n
“I have no idea what the problem is!” Archer sounded frantic, as he punched buttons like mad. “Shit, shit.”<\/p>\n
Raven looked at Valoki. Archer watched the flat green line. Raven screamed at Valoki, “YOU DIDN’T!!” Valoki ducked behind Linda. “Check for poison!”<\/p>\n
“Poison?” Archer questioned but hit more buttons.<\/p>\n
“Valoki joined the fight and injected him.” Raven stared at her life companion with disapproval; “I don’t understand that.”<\/p>\n
“Shit…I don’t know if Spock has anything on dragon anti venom!” Archer face was in a panic.<\/p>\n
“What about Nick?” Raven inquired.<\/p>\n
“Tsar, you big fraggin’ lizard, I know you like to watch! Get your ass in here!”<\/p>\n
Raven looked at little brother and moved him into the other case “Which buttons, Spock?” Raven asked as she shut the lid.<\/p>\n
Nick appeared beside Archer. “Have you ever considered asking?” Nick looked into the ‘doc.<\/p>\n
“Oh great one, thank you for coming.” Raven thanked as she spoke again to Spock, “Spock which button?”<\/p>\n
“No, I didn’t, fix him.”<\/p>\n
Nick glanced at Raven then back at William, “I see the hand … er … tail of my kin in this one.” Nick grinned at Valoki.<\/p>\n
“Archer! Cat is not well too.” Raven was filled in double worry; “Can you please get this thing going.”<\/p>\n
Nick stepped on the release and opened the ‘doc, Archer stepped back, joining Raven to punch buttons on the ‘doc with Simon inside.<\/p>\n
“Spock does not answer me.”<\/p>\n
“It would take too long to tell you, love.” Archer punched a few buttons and sighed. “Okay … it’s working.”<\/p>\n
Raven turned away without thought from Archer. Raven drew her robe closed and pulled Linda back to her arms. Raven hummed to Linda and rocked her in her arms till the tears stopped. Josho giggled happily in his bed.<\/p>\n
Nick looked to Valoki with a grin. “Nasty little sting, kin.” Valoki strutted proudly.<\/p>\n
Nick could hear Valoki hisses into words, “the Troll is next.” Nick murmured a few dragonish words. “It will keep him alive.” Nick closed the lid. “But why didn’t you use the healing sands, daughter?”<\/p>\n
“What? Where?” Raven looked to the great one, “in the cave?”<\/p>\n
“In the warehouse.” Nick stared down at the females huddled together. “The hot sands heal as well as purify.”<\/p>\n
“I am sorry great one, I did not know. Forgive me for not asking the correct questions.”<\/p>\n
Nick raised both eyebrows. “Surely I told you.” He shrugged. “Ah, well, it is of no importance.” Nick disappeared.<\/p>\n
Archer spoke to the air, “Yeah, thanks too, Dragon.”<\/p>\n
“You are welcome, Archer” the dragon growl filled the room.<\/p>\n
Raven pulled Linda from her breast, “Linda, do you feel well enough to go back with Josho or do you wish to help watch over the glass cases. Mystic will be very upset with me for taking him out.”<\/p>\n
Archer looked at Raven, “He could not be safer then here, love.”<\/p>\n
“His father worries so about the future that he holds, I do not like to upset the peace.”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer nodded, as he spoke softly, “Are you okay, Linda?”<\/p>\n
Raven moved Linda away from her a little more.” Sweet young, it is up to you.”<\/p>\n
Archer offered Josho a finger which the baby grabbed and pulling it toward his mouth. Archer smiled. “He might be hungry.”<\/p>\n
Raven rubbed her tummy. “Maybe food for all.”<\/p>\n
Linda Piped up quickly, “Bacon and sausage!”<\/p>\n
Archer asked, “Would you like Spock to return Linda and Josho or would you like to have breakfast first?”<\/p>\n
Linda again answered for Raven, “Real food first!”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer smiled, “Okay.”<\/p>\n
Linda asked, “Can I have some ham with that too?”<\/p>\n
Archer picked up the baby and held him in the crook of his arm.<\/p>\n
“And a couple of eggs?” Linda added to her list.<\/p>\n
Archer spirit seemed to lighten, “I don’t see why not … Marie is home now and would love to cook for more then me.”<\/p>\n
Raven stated, “I will stay here.”<\/p>\n
Archer glanced at the autodocs. “You can’t do anything, Love … you may as well come and sample Marie’s cooking.”<\/p>\n
“Yes, my one and only.”<\/p>\n
“These two are going to be fine.” He reassured.<\/p>\n
“By the flame I plead you are right.” Archer smiled at Raven as she continued. “I need to know why they fought over me.”<\/p>\n
“Trust my technology. It is reliable …”<\/p>\n
Raven interrupted, “In only you will I lay that trust, in your hands I will always leave myself.”<\/p>\n
Archer slipped an arm around Raven’s waist, balancing Josho easily as Raven slipped her free arm around Linda.<\/p>\n
Archer moved forward, “Let’s eat.”<\/p>\n
Raven smiled, she looked at her robe. Archer looked to. Raven asked, “Is the rule still on or off?”<\/p>\n
“Dressing in a hurry, Love?” He smiled, “Just tie it, I think…you will be fine.”<\/p>\n
Linda let go of Raven. Grabbing the Robe tie for her. Linda pulled tight and when done was had nice bow around Raven’s waist. Archer escorted the women across the width of the building, into his quarters and up to the second floor and his kitchen.<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer smiled at an older woman. She was very attractive, with gray hair pulled back in a bun. Her hands are covered with flour and the smell of coffee and croissants fill the room.<\/p>\n
Linda commented, “Smells good in here.”<\/p>\n
“Raven, this is Marie, the love of my life.” Archer introduced. He smiled, watching Raven’s face. Raven looked a little unsure but waited. Marie dusted off her hands and laid her hand on Raven’s shoulders, kissing each cheek<\/p>\n
Raven greeted, “Tis a pleasure to meet the love of my loves life.”<\/p>\n
Marie spoke with a very strong French accent, “I ‘ave been wondering when ‘e would find someone.”<\/p>\n
Raven asked, “You are from the land of the steel and stone?”<\/p>\n
“It will be good to cook for more then ‘im … Steel and stone?” Marie looked lost, “I do not understand.”<\/p>\n
Archer smiled, “Paris, Marie.”<\/p>\n
Raven recalled, “Yes, he took me to that land where a great steel stretch in the sky and street filled in music.”<\/p>\n
Marie confirmed, “Ah … oui, I am form the land of ‘steel and stone'”<\/p>\n
Linda piped in, “Got anything to eat around here? I am starving.”<\/p>\n
“Patience, girl, I am cooking as fast as I can.” Marie seemed so happy at Linda’s demands.<\/p>\n
“Bacon, sausage and ham …” Linda listed, “Think you got any leftovers I can nibble on?”<\/p>\n
Marie pulled a cookie sheet from the oven. It was covered with flaky French pastries. She laughed softly “The young, they do not change …”<\/p>\n
“If I know you.” Archer opened the lower oven revealing platters of the meat.<\/p>\n
Josho cried in Archer’s arm. His screams increased till his little lungs could not bring forth the sound of his discomfort. Raven took her son from his arms and held him close humming a tune into the babies’ ear. He quieted down almost as if by magic.<\/p>\n
Archer pulled out two platters filled with sausage, bacon and ham. He sat the platters on the table. “She always cooks for an army.”<\/p>\n
Marie defended herself; “If I did not, you would be skin and bones!”<\/p>\n
Linda looked for a fork to dig in with. “Where’s the forks?”<\/p>\n
Marie sat a plate and fork before Linda. Linda scooped a large portion to the plate. Marie smiled, “Omelet?”<\/p>\n
Linda spoke with her mouth full; “An omelet would be great!”<\/p>\n
Valoki screeched. Raven requested, “Please could you give him a pretty plate too?”<\/p>\n
Archer smiled, “And what would you like, Valoki?”<\/p>\n
Raven spoke for him; “He wants what Linda is having. And some warm … Milk.”<\/p>\n
Archer pulled a beautiful China plate from the cabinet. He presented to Valoki; “This is from the 4th Century.”<\/p>\n
Raven continued with his request, “in a fine crystal goblet.”<\/p>\n
Archer nodded, locating a Waterford goblet. Valoki smarted off to Raven; “Maybe I should have shown off my power earlier. Now he is behaving correctly to me. A little fear goes a long way.”<\/p>\n
Raven put a lot on to the plate and Valoki gulped down his food. Archer seemed to dance around Marie as the two shared the kitchen as if they had been doing it all of their lives.<\/p>\n
Archer placed a fresh omelet before Linda. He teased, “I don’t think you feed the girl, love!”<\/p>\n
“My one and only is there something for Josho?” Raven saw a smile spread across Marie’s face. “We have plenty in the forest to eat. They just need to pick it.”<\/p>\n
Marie spoke up, “Spock warned me of Josho’s needs.” She removed the lid from a pot steaming at the back of the stove and took out a bottle, nicely warmed. She handed the bottle to Raven and smiled down at the baby.<\/p>\n
Raven accepted the bottle, “Thank you Lady Marie.” Josho sucked heavy on the bottle.<\/p>\n
Marie eyes twinkled as she watched him; “e is so beautiful.”<\/p>\n
Raven offered, “Would you like to hold my treasure?”<\/p>\n
Marie was delighted, “Oh, very much!” Raven handed Josho to her. Marie took the baby, cooing softly at him.<\/p>\n
Archer cracked three eggs and starts an omelet. Raven watched the others eat. Raven remarked, “Marie, Josho likes to eat very fast like these two but his tummy hurts when I let him do that.”<\/p>\n
“You are a treasure, are you not?” Marie held the bottle for the baby. “Child, I am a grandmother many times.” Josho gulped down two ounces in three gulp. Marie raised the bottle and looked down at the baby. “Oo … You are a greedy one.”<\/p>\n
“What is a grandmother?” Raven looked to Archer<\/p>\n
Archer filled the omelet with cheeses, mushrooms, onions, and green pepper. Linda laughed while taking a sip of her milk and started to choke. Archer looked up from the pan; “Marie’s children have children. That makes her a grandmother and if I am not wrong … She has just become a great grandmother as well.”<\/p>\n
Raven questioned, “And you know which are of your line?”<\/p>\n
Marie smiled, her eyes never leaving the baby. “Yes, my granddaughter just had my first great grandchild.”<\/p>\n
Raven mind wandered away and a blank look came over her. Archer smiled, setting the hot omelet before Raven. Raven picked up a roll and tore a small piece from it and laid it in mouth.<\/p>\n
“Marie’s daughter’s daughter, love.” He explained, “And yes, she knows all of her line.”<\/p>\n
Raven concluded, “So if Josho bears a son, Mystic would be a grandfather?”<\/p>\n
Archer nodded. “Yes,” He started another omelet, “and when our children have children. You will be a grandmother.” Raven took two bites of the omelet before Valoki came over and started eating for her. Archer slipped into a chair beside Raven, his own plate full. “What is it, love?”<\/p>\n
Raven looked to him, “What?”<\/p>\n
Archer covered her hand with his. “You are lost in thought.”<\/p>\n
Raven smiled. “Life is so different among the green.”<\/p>\n
Archer looked to her plate, “and you do not eat.”<\/p>\n
“Yes I have.” Raven showed him the roll with barely a bite gone.<\/p>\n
“A few bites. Are you feeling okay?”<\/p>\n
“Tis nothing,” A look swept over her face, “but I do need the refresh … umm … Bye.” Raven ran out the door.<\/p>\n
Linda laughed, “HEY! She didn’t wait to get excused.” Linda made an invisible line in the air.<\/p>\n
Archer glanced at Marie. “She doesn’t have too, Linda … This is her home.”<\/p>\n
Linda filled her mouth full and added, “And she thinks I don’t listen to her. She says it is impolite to leave without being excuse in the company of more than one.”<\/p>\n
Archer stabbed a sausage. “I am going to have to get her into the ‘doc, I think.”<\/p>\n
Linda shrugged, “Nah she’s been like this all month.”<\/p>\n
Archer looked at Linda, “Even more of a reason.”<\/p>\n
Marie laid a hand on Archer’s arm “All this month?”<\/p>\n
Linda chattered on, “Will I think it has something to do with the pain.” Marie gets up and followed out after Raven. Linda pulled more food on her plate<\/p>\n
Archer asked, “What pains?”<\/p>\n
“I think she was just pining over you.” She took a large gulp of juice, chattering on, “Something about that fear stuff she kept having and food being too heavy. Can you believe it? She can’t eat meat with out it coming up.”<\/p>\n
Archer commented, “I didn’t think she cared for it, so I didn’t add any to the omelet.”<\/p>\n
Linda continued, “Nah, lately it’s been all food. She been drinking the baby milk.”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer scowled, “Hmm.” He toyed with a strip of bacon.<\/p>\n
“Stuff smell bad to me.” Se pushed another mouth full in and continued, “That soy stuff stinks but she drinks it.”<\/p>\n
“Yeah.”<\/p>\n
“Want to see something funny.” she chuckled, “give her tap water. Makes her empty her belly right than and there.”<\/p>\n
Archer stared at the plate. “Tap water?” Archer glanced at Linda. Archer scowled again. “Shit!”<\/p>\n
Linda looked up. “What! What did I say?”<\/p>\n
Archer leaped up from the table and charged after Raven and Marie.<\/p>\n
Linda called after him, “HEY! CAN I HAVE YOUR EGGS?”<\/p>\n
Archer disappeared up the stairs. He raced through the library and slammed the door of the bedroom open. “Raven?” Archer slowed down as he approached to the bathroom. Marie stood just out side the door.<\/p>\n
Marie shrugged “I ‘eard ‘er throwing up … but she would not let me in.” Josho moved in Marie’s arms.<\/p>\n
Archer taped not the door, “Raven? Open the door, love.”<\/p>\n
“I am not done.”<\/p>\n
“I am coming in.” Archer turned the knob. He opened the door slowly, “Raven?” She sat next to the porcelain god in worship. Raven up chucked one more time and the smell of bile filled the air. Archer knelt beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder. “How long has this been going on?”<\/p>\n
Raven kept her eyes to the whirl of water, “Since the night of my drinking.” Archer pulled a towel from the rack and offered it to Raven, “but not like this.”<\/p>\n
Archer spoke firmly, “I think it is time you had a little nap in the autodoc.”<\/p>\n
“No,” She protested, “I will be fine.”<\/p>\n
“Yes.” he countered her words, “You will not be. Not if this has been going on that long. Spock! Get me a portable diagnostics unit in the bathroom!”<\/p>\n
“But it has only increased recently.” Raven looked up to him.<\/p>\n
Archer proclaimed, “This world may harbor something that is dangerous to you. And not to natives.” Archer picked up the medical unit Spock beamed in. He popped it open. He watched the unit as it beeped and buzzed. Archer raised an eyebrow. He closed the unit, laying it on the floor. “You have been poison, love.”<\/p>\n
“Valoki did not sting me.” Raven turned quickly as more came from within.<\/p>\n
Archer knelt on the floor beside her. He whispered, “Tsar … I need your help”<\/p>\n
Raven warned, “If you ask too much of him, we will both owe him.”<\/p>\n
Nick appeared, leaning against the door jam. “Was it so hard, Archer?”<\/p>\n
Archer stood, facing the dragon. “I don’t know what the drug is, Tsar… And it is killing her… and my children. Help her, please.”<\/p>\n
Nick nodded, “I do owe you, but after this, no more.”<\/p>\n
Archer nodded back, “And I will owe you.”<\/p>\n
Raven eyes grew big as Nick knelt beside her. He placed a hand on her cheek<\/p>\n
“Great one,” Her voice trembled.<\/p>\n
“Do not worry, daughter. All will be well … now.”<\/p>\n
“I can not let him take my debt.”<\/p>\n
Nick smiled a secret smile, “He does so willingly and, I think, without regret.”<\/p>\n
“But than I refuse.”<\/p>\n
Nick shook his head, “No … You can’t.”<\/p>\n
“I fear of your fee.”<\/p>\n
Nick raised his voice, ignoring her protest, and spoke great Words of Power.<\/p>\n
Raven fell into tears. Gentle warmth surrounded Raven, the magic healing her off all her ills. Nick touched her hair. “Do not weep, daughter, I take nothing from you and nothing from him.” Nick glanced up at a very worried Archer. He stood offering Bowman his hand. Archer slowly took the hand, his face filled with confusion. Raven wiped her tears and watched from her seated place. “We are even now Archer … I have repaid you for my meddling in your life with Thistle. I cannot bring her back to you … but I hope the two lives in this girl will in some way atone.” Raven rubbed her tummy. “I will call on you, now, as a friend and equal, as Rogue would have it.” Raven mumbled in her native tongue. “Yes, daughter … two.” Nick smiled down at Raven and offered her a hand.
\nShe took his hand and went to her feet, “By the flame.”<\/p>\n
Nick smiled, “No … by you … and him.” Nick nodded at Archer.<\/p>\n
Raven requested, “Can I inquire of one more thing?”<\/p>\n
Nick smiled, “Ask it.”<\/p>\n
Raven spoke brief, “One, two or three day seeded?”<\/p>\n
Nick chuckled, “Three.”<\/p>\n
A smiled spread across her face, “The greatest of blessing by the flame.” Nick disappeared. Streams of tears flowed from her eyes. Tears of joy. Archer shook his head, still slightly amazed. Raven sat down on the edge of the tub. Archer sat down beside her.<\/p>\n
“There is two,” Raven looked to Archer, “We do not have two.”<\/p>\n
“Oh?” He pulled her to him, “I think WE do.” Raven smiled as she hugged him tightly. “Nobody is going to believe this.” Archer hugged her gently, careful not to squeeze too hard.<\/p>\n
“I don’t care what the green or the forest believes. Promise me I will not be placed in holding.”<\/p>\n
“Holding?” Archer questioned, “What do you mean?”<\/p>\n
“Where the seeded wait.” Archer looked at her with a frown on his lips. “Why do you frown.”<\/p>\n
“What is ‘holding’?”<\/p>\n
Raven kissed his lips. Archer smiled under her lips. “Once a mate is seeded she is a bearer, the bearer is placed in holding. This is to protect her from theft. The dark would love to get a bearer and steal the seed.”<\/p>\n
Archer spoke, “Well … We will be extra careful … but you don’t have to go into holding. Your warehouse … or here … or wherever you need to be.”<\/p>\n
“Can we still lay together?”<\/p>\n
Archer replied, “Yes … of course.”<\/p>\n
“Ummm and other things?”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer nodded, smiling, “And ‘other’ things.” Raven snuggled closer. “At least for some months.”<\/p>\n
Raven thought aloud, “I wonder how long it will take here?”<\/p>\n
Archer answered, “Ten lunar months … for human women.”<\/p>\n
Linda voice pierced the room, “YO GUYS! Can I raid the fridge!!!<\/p>\n
Archer laughed, “Do you EVER feed her?”<\/p>\n
“Yes, of course I did.”<\/p>\n
“Meat?”<\/p>\n
“You gave her steak and William brought pizza and burgers.”<\/p>\n
“Everyday, love.” Archer was amused again; “Humans love their meats.”<\/p>\n
“He can not fetch them any more.”<\/p>\n
Archer thought, “I may rescind my rule.”<\/p>\n
“John just brings donuts and coffee. John will be so pleased. I have two within.” Archer sighed and looked up at Marie, peeking through the door.<\/p>\n
Marie smiled, “He sleeps.” Josho reached up and played with her necklace.
\nRaven pointed at his little fingers. Marie rocked the baby gently.<\/p>\n
Raven chuckled, “Nope he is sneaky like his father.”<\/p>\n
Marie glanced down at the baby and grinned, “Archer hasn’t a sneaky bone in his body.”<\/p>\n
“But Mystic does.” Raven corrected. Archer laughed softly, “Maybe I should explain.”<\/p>\n
“Maybe you should!” Archer stifled his laugh. Marie cocked her head.<\/p>\n
Raven spoke, “The child called to me when I was with Mystic and the bearer was without flame so we took the child for our own. Mystic, father and I, mother.” Marie glanced at Archer. “The way of the green to have two parents.”<\/p>\n
Archer smiled, “She rescued the boy from his dead mother and she and Mystic have adopted him.”<\/p>\n
Raven looked to Archer, “Is that not what I said?”<\/p>\n
“Ah … It is good…now he can be the older brother to two others.” Marie smiled and turned away, cooing to Josho. “I’ll take him downstairs.”<\/p>\n
“She is a good parent.” Raven commented, “My love I have things to tend to today.” Archer smiled as I continued, “I still need to do my trade and visit the ones who may join us and check into the mission church.”<\/p>\n
Archer stared into her eyes, “Would you like me to go with you?”<\/p>\n
“Think Cat will be well enough to join us at the church. The rest I can handle. I need to ask Big Pete about my dead mates”<\/p>\n
Archer requested, “Spock, what is Cat’s condition?” He listened a moment. “He’ll recover before William. Valoki really slammed him. Big Pete?”<\/p>\n
Archer stood up Raven rising besides him. “I think I need my clothes and talisman<\/p>\n
Archer smiled and nodded, “Ready to start our day?”<\/p>\n
“No, but the need is there.”<\/p>\n
“I do think it best, if you dress to go out.” He brushed her hair aside.<\/p>\n
“I rather be in your arms always.” Raven spoke as Archer hugged her. “Linda and Josho should return to the warehouse forest.” She buried herself in his chest.<\/p>\n
“Let’s check with Linda first, make sure she’s full.” Archer smirked.<\/p>\n
Raven smiled pulling him to her lips. Archer returned the kiss, holding her as if she might break. “You have held me tighter. What’s wrong?”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer smiled, “Never held the mother of my children before.”<\/p>\n
Raven smiled brightly. She pushed from his arms. “I need to get my things.” Archer nodded and followed her out into the bedroom. “If I stay any longer near you I fear we will never start the day.” Raven retrieved her things from the Library<\/p>\n
Archer commented, “Then by all means, let us separate, lest we waste the day.”<\/p>\n
“Who says that would be a wasted day,” Raven spoke as she locked to his eyes, “A day with you could never be wasted.” Raven dropped her robe in the library and slipped on her clothes.<\/p>\n
“What’s on our agenda first?” He asked. He lend against the arm of the couch, watching.<\/p>\n
Raven dressed quickly. She walked up to her Cufaen looking into his eyes and opening her locket. Raven watched the flame dance. “I will meet at the mansion my love.” Raven disappeared through her flame.<\/p>\n
Linda shouted, “ARE YOU GUYS THROUGH YET.”<\/p>\n
Ghost Archer smiled and pushed himself up. He grinned trotting off, “Raven … I think you forgot someone.” He entered the kitchen to see Linda petting Valoki and finishing up another plate<\/p>\n
“Ready to get back to the warehouse, Linda?”<\/p>\n
Somewhere through time and space.<\/p>\n
The vision faded from sight. “Is that enough for you little one?” The great Dragon looked down at Rav.<\/p>\n
“If you will, I would like to see more of my daughter’s love.”<\/p>\n
“As you wish,” The Great dragon grinned, “But as you can see, she has started down the road of greatness.<\/p>\n
“Yes, Great one, I see. This Archer I wish to see just a bit more of him.” Rav looked to the mighty one that cradled her in his arm.<\/p>\n
“Tell me little one. Why?”<\/p>\n
“Because I wish to know more of the father of my grandchildren.”<\/p>\n
“And?”<\/p>\n
“You know me to well. Coz”<\/p>\n
